Not much is it? I have a .040 over two bolt 350 small block I am building for it right now. It has a 280H cam from Comp Cams, Sportsman II heads, approx 9.75:1 compression, ARP main, head, and rocker arm studs, and ARP rod bolts as well. It will be topped off with a Victor Jr intake manifold with a 750 double pumper from Holley. Spark will be supplied from a Carb Shop distributor. I do not yet have headers for it but will most likely be 1 3/4 primary size. They will dump into existing dual 2 1/2" pipes with two chamber Flowmaster mufflers. The tranny is a TH350 rebuilt by a local outfit with a custom A1 converter. It currently has a 10 bolt rear end with 3.08 gears. I would like to find a 12 bolt and put 3.73 gears in. Also, a fiberglass cowl induction hood is being added due to clearance problems with the stock hood.

This is my neighbors current project. It is a 37 Chevy coupe. The roof has been chopped 3 inches. It has a 350 ci Chevy small block. 9.0:1 compression, mild 262 hydraulic camshaft, 882 style heads modified to accept 2.02/1.60 valves and a dual plane polished aluminum dual 4 bbl intake manifold with two 500cfm edelbrocks. Blockhugger headers dump into two 2 1/2" pipes with Flowmaster mufflers. The transmission is a 700-R4 which turns the 4.11 9" Ford differential. It has a 4 link coil over style rear end. Future plans include the possibility of a blower from B&M. He found a set of aluminum Hemi heads for it too, but they were $3000. Thats right HEMI HEADS ON A CHEVY!!!
